Artistic heritage in leather: A collaboration of craft and design.
Hand-cut and sewn in our Chicago workshop, this leather necklace is a wearable piece of art. It features a two-color offset print designed by artist Paula J. Wilson and hand screen-printed by Nora Renick-Reinhart. The printed layer is mounted over solid black leather, finished with contrast topstitching and antique brass snaps. Perfect for instantly upgrading a basic tee, an LBD, or a crisp white button-down.
Our leather is sourced from Horween, the last remaining, unionized tannery in Chicago. We use a vegetable-tanning process—a slow, non-toxic method using tree bark extracts. This produces a hide with rich, variegated tones that age beautifully, retaining the natural grain patterns and marks of the animal's life, making each necklace truly one-of-a-kind.
